The basics

Are you actually printing in Australia? +
Yes. Every print runs on our UV printer in Melbourne. We are not a broker. Not a reseller. You can book a visit and watch your job print. Address on the contact page.
Do you really have no minimum order? +
Yes. Order 1 can as a $15 sample. Order 10,000 as a production run. Both go on the same machine, both ship in 2 to 3 business days. There is no catch.
How fast is turnaround? +
2 to 3 business days from when you approve the digital proof. Rush jobs (next-day, same-day) are available on request, quoted separately. Tell us your deadline, we will tell you if we can hit it.
How does the $15 sample credit actually work? +
You pay $15 ex GST for one printed can or cup. We print it on your real stock with your real artwork. If you come back and place an order of 200+ cans or 1,000+ cups within 90 days, we take $15 off that order. So if you order, the sample is effectively free. If you never come back, you paid $15 for a proof.
Do you charge setup fees or plate fees? +
No setup fees. No plate fees. No design fees if your artwork is print-ready. The price you see on the product page is what you pay.

Pricing and orders

Why does price per unit go up on small runs? +
Every run has setup time regardless of quantity. When you order 50 cups, that setup spreads across 50 units. At 5,000 units it spreads across 5,000. Same machine, same print quality. Just maths on the per-unit number.
What does print quality look like at 1 unit versus 5,000? +
Identical. The $15 sample goes through the same printer, same settings, same stock as a production run. That is the whole point of no-MOQ. Order the sample and compare.
Do I pay before you print? +
You place an order request. We send a free digital proof within 1 business day. Once you approve the proof, we take payment, then print. If you do not approve, you pay nothing.
Can I get a quote for more than 10,000 units? +
Yes. Email hello@packlabb.com.au with quantity, size, and artwork. Volume quotes usually back within 4 business hours.

Artwork

What file formats do you accept? +
Adobe Illustrator (.ai) is ideal. PDF with embedded fonts works well. PNG at 300dpi or higher is fine. JPG, SVG also accepted. If your file is low-res or RGB, we will flag it and suggest fixes before anything prints.
My artwork is not print-ready, can you help? +
Yes. Send what you have. Our studio reviews every file. If it needs adjusting (bleeds, colour mode, resolution), we either fix it for you or tell you exactly what needs changing. You will not pay for a bad print because your file was off.
Can you match Pantone colours? +
On bulk runs, yes. Specify the Pantone code in your brief. Small runs (under 500) can get close but we cannot guarantee exact match at that volume. Order the $15 sample to see the actual print before committing.
Can you print white ink? +
Yes, white ink is available on clear PET cans and cups. Specify in your order notes. Critical if your artwork relies on white against clear backgrounds.

Shipping and logistics

Do you ship Australia-wide? +
Yes, every state. Free express on orders over $200. Under $200, shipping is calculated at checkout. Melbourne customers can pick up from our facility same-day on request.
I am in WA, are there restrictions on PET cans? +
The WA plastics regulation (from 2025) restricts certain single-use plastics in hospitality venues. Our PET cans and cups are retail-compliant (sold sealed) but may not be suitable for dine-in hospitality use in WA depending on application. Call us to confirm your specific use case.
Can I pick up in Melbourne? +
Yes. Pickup is free. Most orders are ready same day once the proof is approved. Book pickup when you place your order.

Quality and reprints

What if the print is defective? +
We reprint it. Full run, no charge. Send us a photo of the defect within 14 days of receipt and the reprint ships same-week. This is a standing reprint promise, not a subjective call.
What is not covered by the reprint promise? +
Artwork you approved on the digital proof. If the proof showed the problem and you still approved it, that is on you. We send detailed proofs for this exact reason. If in doubt, order the $15 sample before bulk.

Reorders and ongoing customers

How does reordering work? +
Once your first order is done, your artwork, stock and specs are saved. For repeat orders on the same artwork, no new proof needed. One click, it goes straight to production. Most of our cafe customers reorder weekly.
Do you do subscription or standing orders? +
Yes. Tell us your volume and cadence (e.g. 1,000 cups every 2 weeks) and we pre-schedule production. Locks in your pricing and removes the ordering step from your week.

About the company

Is Packlabb related to Sticky Sitch? +

What is your ABN? +
ABN 61 661 239 943. Registered Australian business, Melbourne VIC.
